Q: How much does it Cost ? |
|
OnStop charges £4.95 + VAT for each registry entry and a membership fee of £49 + VAT per annum. The membership fee is may be paid annually or quarterly by credit/debit card or by cheque/standing order. |

Searching the OnStop registry database is free of charge.
Taking companies off the registry is also free of charge. |
| Q: Is OnStop suitable for anyone that offers business to business credit ? |
| Yes, a key advantage of the OnStop system is that it crosses all industry boundaries. Any company that offers goods or services on credit to other businesses can make use of OnStop to accelerate their payment cycle. The broad base of the OnStop community makes up to the minute information about the creditworthiness of existing and potential customers available to any business, regardless of size or market. |
| Q: How are we billed ? |
| Membership fees are billed when you join OnStop and at each anniversary of your joining date.Membership fees are payable annually or quarterly in advance. Methods of payment are; secure online by credit/debit card using WorldPay or offline using cheque/standing order. |
| OnStop registry entries are billed monthly by email and are payable on 30 days by cheque or BACS. |
| Q: Should I be concerned about upsetting my customers when using OnStop ? |

No, OnStop is a polite but effective means of encouraging slow paying customers to settle their bills, using gentle persuasion and the established benefit of 3rd party intervention to achieve this goal. Selecting which customers to register with OnStop, and when, is your choice. By only targetting poor paying accounts OnStop strengthens your hand with those customers that choose to delay payment, you should never feel hesitant or embarrassed about asking for your money. |

Q: Are we able to recover the costs of using OnStop ? |

Yes, you are legally entitled to recover a fixed amount of costs arising from collection of overdue amounts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, as follows ; |

| Q: How effective is OnStop ? |
| 95% of slow paying customers who are registered with us will pay, or contact you making arrangements to pay, within the ten day payment window set by the OnStop letter. The remaining 5% of offending accounts should be treated as being in extreme financial difficulty. At this stage immediate action should be taken, such as a visit to their premises. |
| OnStop can also help accelerate your payment cycle by association; we recommend informing all your customers of your intention to use the OnStop system to combat slow payment when you join the site.
